Laythrom Media will be producing a teen drunk driving video to be distributed to MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), local area high schools, school systems through out large metropolitan across the nation and multiple drivers education centers.
Laythrom Media is starting pre-production for a teen anti-drunk driving video to be distributed to multiple schools and agencies.
“The outdated and lossy videos that we’ve seen in the past doesn’t seem to be affecting teens now days” said Matt Adkins, Director for
Laythrom Media. “I wanted to do something a little bit more about the issue and drinking and driving is a big issue”.
Laythrom has chosen school systems in approximately 50 different cities across the US to distribute (free of charge) the video to.
Laythrom is reaching out to multiple different agencies in order to help with the logistics and materials needed.
“It is an interesting and time consuming task when you actually think about it. We’re going to need vehicles, emergency services, actors and actresses not to mention the typical production setup.”
Laythrom is seeking as many volunteers as possible for this production; “We’re doing this because I want to [and the staff wants to as well], I’m wanting to show these kids something more than a typical drivers-ed video…something that will make them look at things a bit differently yet be more impacting and tie it into approximately 4 minute time frame to keep their attention.”
Laythrom plans to shoot and produce the video using volunteered time and material. The video will be available to any and all educational systems as well as 501(c)(3) organizations.
